WOW! What a great couple of days celebrating PE and Sport at Compton with our annual two sports days taking place this week. 

KS1 kicked things off on Tuesday with a tremendous display of sportsmanship, teamwork and enjoyment. They worked hard all morning and it was brilliant to see the smiles on all their faces as they tried to win points for their team. Next up was KS2 and despite the slight weather scare in the morning, the event turned out to be a huge success. A mixture of 4 different year groups came together to become successful as a team in the carousel before the traditional class and sprint races took place. Year 6 even got to enjoy their last-ever sports day by getting sprayed with super soakers during their class races! Unfortunately, Mr Oakshott took this too far by pouring a whole bucket of water over Mr Pound’s head!

As a PE team, we would like to thank all of our wonderful Compton staff for their commitment, hard work and patience in ensuring these two events ran so smoothly and efficiently. A special thank you must also go to Mrs Harding for the fantastic job she did on the microphone - a true natural!
