In our science lessons, we have been learning about rocks and their different properties. We started our learning by exploring a range of different chocolates and we made careful observations about their properties noting their similarities and differences.                                                                                              

Then in our next lesson, we looked at actual rock samples and used our prior learning to describe the different observable properties of the rocks as well before comparing them using Venn diagrams. The Children have enjoyed learning about rocks.
